Required Qualifications
· Bachelor's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
· Minimum 3 years of experience in backend application development
· Strong experience with Python, Django, Django REST Framework, FastAPI and similar backend technologies
· Experience designing REST APIs, system integrations and scalable backend architecture
· Advanced knowledge of PostgreSQL, database design, queries, migrations, backup and performance optimization
· Knowledge of Redis, caching, background workers, queues and asynchronous processing
· Experience with authentication, authorization, RBAC and application security
· Docker, Docker Compose, GitLab/Github and CI/CD experience
· Linux server, nginx, cloud deployment, monitoring and production support knowledge
· Experience integrating third-party APIs, payment services, GIS platforms, notification services and external systems
· Strong troubleshooting, testing, debugging, code review and refactoring skills
· Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Willing to learn new frameworks and technologies when needed\
Key Duties and Responsibilities
· Design, develop and maintain secure, scalable and high-performance backend systems
· Develop REST APIs and services for web, mobile, AI and external platforms
· Design and manage databases, data models, queries, migrations and backup processes
· Implement authentication, authorization, access control and data security
· Integrate third-party APIs, payment gateways, GIS services, notification systems and project platforms
· Develop background tasks, caching, queues and asynchronous workflows
· Optimize database queries, API performance and server resource usage
· Develop automated tests and conduct debugging, code reviews and performance testing
· Deploy and manage backend applications using Docker, Linux, cloud platforms and CI/CD pipelines
· Monitor services, logs, errors, security risks and production performance
· Prepare technical documentation for APIs, databases, architecture and deployment
· Collaborate with Frontend, AI, DevOps, GIS and Quality Assurance teams
· Provide technical guidance and mentoring to Mid-level Backend Developers
· Keep updated on modern backend, security and deployment technologies.
